My Name Is Adam and if you're interested I would like to tell you a little about myself.
Elysian Mushrooms
Elysian Mushrooms is a local gourmet mushroom farm I started around 5 years ago. I have been working as a landscaper for about 15 years. I found an interest in plants in my late teenage years and from there my path began. From plants to soil to worms and compost my love for mushrooms manifested. Since my first attempt to grow mushrooms in the year of 2016, I’ve acquired a passion for mushroom farming amongst many other natural curiosities. I also have a massive interest in doing soil remediation projects, recycling projects, landscape supply/processing, and even worm farming. At Elysian Mushrooms our goals are massive and our interests are diverse.
New Mushroom Cultures
We love to experiment! There are ways I collect different mushroom genetics to produce new varieties of mushrooms to eat or use medicinally. We’re searching and researching!
No Waste Company
At Elysian Mushrooms, I try to produce minimal waste. Compostable packaging and reusable materials such as buckets and jars are implemented to reduce the use of plastic waste. We’re always in search of other possible materials to produce little to no waste. Or even new mushroom cultures that process plastic or other toxic materials.
Plants, Compost and More
At some point in the future I plan to extend roots (or mycelium) into many other projects. I love to garden! Using spent mushroom blocks I want to build a composting system to help supply local gardens with our healthy living compost. We would love to add other kinds of produce, microgreens and even chicken eggs or honey to our list of products as well.
Mushroom Coffee
I grow my own mushrooms and now work in the coffee industry as well.... I'm sure you see where this is going. YES!!!! MUSHROOM COFFEE!! Some day I would love to produce my own high quality mushroom coffee.
Conclusion
Through all of this work and research I have had coffee to help fuel my mornings. Over time I started to love coffee more and went in search for better quality. I was introduced into a new world of happiness and comfort. I then found myself in search once again for a way to help provide high quality coffee to the local community around me as well as across the world. Coffee is an important part of my life and if you're here it must be an important part of yours as well. This is why I made the decision to create "Elysian Coffee Company". Because it truly is my "relation to paradise". I want to thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this small article.
